How it's made

Every weave tells a story

lucinói bags are handcrafted by Delfino and his family in Mexico City, using a traditional weaving technique passed down through generations.

1
The weave - Mexico City

Each bag is handcrafted by Delfino and his family using traditional fiber strips, a craft passed down through generations. Each bag takes approximately 5 hours to make.

2
The fabric lining - France

Lucile selects dead stock carefully chosen fabric per colour in France, adding an interior lining that bridges two cultures in a single object.

3
Your bag - shipped with its story

Each piece tells the story of the hands that crafted it. Handcrafted and customized using limited deadstock materials, no two bags are the same: a celebration of craftsmanship, people, and story.

"carry your story"

Handcrafted in Mexico. Imagined in Paris.

It started with a chance encounter at the Lagunilla market in Mexico City. A hand-crafted bag carried by a woman named María, an artisan whose work was beautiful, yet impossible to trace.

That moment sparked a purpose: not to speak for artisans, but to work with them. Creating pieces where craftsmanship, people, and stories are visible and connected.

The name lucinói comes from a childhood nickname I received growing up in Thailand. It carries memories of travel and cultures that shaped who I am. The brand reflects the same spirit, with each bag carrying its own story of craftsmanship and human connection.
